What you walk away with

What kind of back problem this is

In plain language, not a diagnosis code — and what that kind tends to respond to.

PTs near you who treat it

Clinics in your Brooklyn neighborhood, ranked against your pattern, with the reason for each match spelled out.

A summary to hand over

Show it to whichever PT you choose — including one you already see. Saves you the first fifteen minutes of the visit.

Why it matters which kind you have

Not all physical therapy is the same. McKenzie, McGill-style load management, manual therapy, movement-based rehab — each of them works, for the right back. Put someone in the wrong one and they do six weeks of exercises that were never going to help.

Most people never find out which one fits them. They get handed the same generic sheet as everyone else. This sorts that out first.

It screens for red flags first. This is a classification, not a diagnosis. If your symptoms are the kind that need a doctor rather than a physical therapist, the assessment tells you and stops.
